One day after Club Brugge, Anderlecht are playing in the 3rd qualification round of the Champions League. The opponent is Slavia Prague. One question remains: will Mbo or Serhat play?


Nenad Jestrovic seems to be the only one who's sure of his place in the offensive line. Since it's important to hold the nill, Vercauteren will probably start in a 4-4-2 formation. This means that, in comparison with the game against La Louvière, one striker will have to take place on the bench. Is it going to be Mbo Mpenza or Serhat Akin? Or maybe they'll both play in a 3-4-3 formation? In that case, Wilhelmsson won't start the game.

Further Vercauteren had the say the following: "I have to make a tough decision. Which striker should I pick? I don't know it yet, but I'll talk with the one who has to start on the bench, because he deserves a better place.
I've heard that everyone sees us as the favorite to win this game. I'd rather say that the chances are 50-50. I fear the counter attack of Slavia."
