Van Holsbeeck: "Case Proto is officially closed"

Manager Herman Van Holsbeeck officially announced that RSC Anderlecht stopped all negociations with goalkeeper Silvio Proto. "The case is closed. It's over", he said.


We couldn't agree on the financial aspect. "We talked a lot with Proto and his manager. His manager was only interested in the money. That's a shame, because Proto was prepared to play for us", explained the Anderlecht manager.

"It wasn't the attitude of Proto's manager (Pietro Allata). He just demanded more than we could afford", concluded a disappointed Van Holsbeeck.
