Anderlecht striker Nenad Jestrovic is holding out for a dream move to England despite offers from Paris St Germain, Bordeaux and Celta Vigo.

The 29-year-old Serbo-Montenegrin, who was top-scorer in the Jupiler League with 18 goals even though he had three months on the sidelines with a broken arm, is keen to sample the Premiership.

The powerful striker, who scored for his country in their 2-1 defeat to England in 2003, was linked with Blackburn, Aston Villa and Portsmouth earlier this season and it is understood he would also consider the three teams just relegated from the top-flight - Norwich, Crystal Palace and Southampton.

Adored by the Anderlecht fans, £1million-rated 'Jestrogol' has enjoyed his spell in Belgium but, with a year left on his contract, feels it is time to move on.

"I love Anderlecht and I have won the championship, played in the Champions League and been top-scorer here but (a move to England) would be a new challenge for me," he said. There are offers from PSG, Bordeaux and Celta Vigo but England is my first choice and it would be a dream come true for me to go there. It is the best championship in the world and it is not like France or Spain where there are just three or four big teams. All the clubs in the Premiership are big clubs and I also respect the teams that have just been relegated."

Jestrovic rates his strike against England as one of the highlights of his career and continued: "I will never forget that goal and I hope to score many more goals in England.

"I am strong and fast and I think I could succeed in the Premiership."

The former Metz frontman's UK agent Sam Stapleton added: "Jestro is being realistic and is waiting to see what happens.

"There has been a lot of speculation as to where he is going but at the moment nothing is concrete. Offers are coming in from France and Spain but he is holding out for England."
