The Profliga has granted the TV-rights for the Belgian league to Belgacom. Belgacom offered 36 million euro per year for the total package.

Jean-Marie Philips, the chairman of the Profliga, announced that no higher bid was made. "The rights go to Belgacom, if the European Commission for Communication agrees with it", said Philips.

The agreement is good news for VRT (Flemish public TV). They have an agreement with Belgacom to broadcast games from three of the packages included in the contract.
