Daniel Zitka will defend the Anderlecht goal

The chances are increasing that Daniel Zitka will defend the Anderlecht goal on Friday against Westerlo. "Peersman wont't be fit by then&qquot;, explained trainer Franky Vercauteren.


"He'll be examined again, but it doesn't look too good. Van Steenberghe will resume the trainings today. But I don't think that one training will be enough to be fit for a game"
If Peersman and Van Steenberghe are indeed out, the young Van Den Noortgaete will take place on the bench.

Daniel Zitka feels like he's ready for the game: "I'm fit again. My moral isn't excellent yet, but that's normal because I played my last game on December 5. Though it feels good that the club offered me a new contract."
