Peersman leaves training (slightly) injured

Last Thursday, Daniel Zitka was not in the selection for the match against Standard before Jan Van Steenberghe got injured at his thigh (elongation). The Czech had to take place on the bench.

"Today we are having a diagnostic ultrasound. But it is just a slight elongation, it did not feel it was torn. It would be a pity to fall again after my coming back, but I do not worry too much about it. It will be all right. I have already had too many problems this year. But I do not see any problem for Friday".

Zitka is about to sign a contract extension. "This is very good for the self-confidence", says Zitka. "But if a new goalkeeper comes, either Tristan or I will have to leave. Three goalkeepers is perfect. Last week I was still number 3, maybe I will be number 1 within a few days. Everything runs very fast".
