After the important game against Genk, everybody was satisfied in Anderlecht. Vercauteren thinks it is now more important to keep this second place while Deschacht still believes in the title.

Franky Vercauteren (coach Anderlecht): "Before half-time, we did not make enough use of our wings, but it was remarkably much better afterwards. It will now be difficult for Genk to get a qualification for the Champions League. We have to focus on Standard, not on Brugge. What happened this week-end in La Louvière is not a good example of fair-play".

Olivier Deschacht does not agree with his coach: "Traditionally Anderlecht never look behind them. We keep looking in front of us, towards Brugge. But this game changed very little: the distance with Brugge on the one side and with Standard on the other remains the same".

He is commenting on his brilliant action for the 1-2: "For the same price, I might have lost the ball and Genk might have scored a goal".
