Mpenza: "I'm angry with myself"

Mbo Mpenza gave an interview to the Flemish newspapers. He tells how Anderlecht promised him he could play in an offensive position. He also regrets that he helped former coach Broos out by playing as a winger.


Mbo Mpenza: "I had a clear agreement with the club. I was supposed to play as a striker. But because of the many injured players, trainer Broos asked me to play on the wing. I agreed, but I regret that now. I didn't want to leave Anderlecht during the winter, because I need a trainer who believes in me."
