Anderlecht interested in Proto, but no offer yet

According to his manager, several European topclubs are charmed by goalkeeper Silvio Proto. Besides a few Italian clubs, also Arsenal, Manchester United and Anderlecht want to transfer the Red Devil.


"Anderlecht are interested but they haven't taken any steps yet. I think they are a bit scared to make a too small bid with all those other big European clubs interested too. I don't get it though. Proto isn't expensive at all." said Pietro Alatta, Proto's manager.

Proto still has a contract with La Louvière until June 2006, but a special option allows him to leave when he wants for 625.000 euro.
