American and Mexican left backs in the picture

TRANSFERS Media in North America are reporting Anderlecht's interest in Omar Campos and DeJuan Jones. Both are left backs who are an option when Francis Amuzu and Sergio Gomez leave Anderlecht.


Campos is 19 years old and plays for Santos Laguna in Mexico. Despite his young age, he already played 56 games for the first team, of which 52 as a starting player. He is still under contract until mid 2025 and his market value is 4 million euros. In December he was called up for the first time for the Mexican national team, but he did not come off the bench then.

Jones is a 25-year-old American who plays for New England Revolution. He is a regular at New England. In the current MLS season he has already played 22 games. He had four assists and one goal. Jones' contract runs until December 31, 2024. His market value is estimated at 2 million euros. He has not yet played for Team USA.
