Official: New contracts for Vercauteren and Engwanda

YOUTH Anderlecht continues to pay the necessary attention to the RSCA Futures who will play in the Challenger Pro League (1B) in the coming season. The contracts of goalkeeper Rik Vercauteren and midfielder Alonzo Engwanda were renewed.


Engwanda (19) is a 'technically skilled and physically strong midfielder', according to Anderlecht's official website. He signed until 2024. Last season, Kompany already let him train with the first team.

Vercauteren (21) trained regularly with the first team last season and will play for the RSCA Futures this season. His contract expired at the end of this month, but an agreement was found for an extra year.
