The chairman of Anderlecht, Roger Vanden Stock, didn't feel like talking to much after the match. "It will be difficult to regain his confidence. And he was Red Devil once..."

Also Pär Zetterberg supports Peersman: "We all have to help him. Everyone has tried to convince him to keep on playing in the second half. I also had such a crise once. Maybe it sounds crazy: the head wants to cooperate, but the feet, in his case his hands, don't want to."

In the mean time, Anderlecht are still considering buying a new goalkeeper. "We don't feel like buying a new Pavlovic, like we did before", announced Van Holsbeeck.

They try to stay calm in Brussels. Broos gave Peersman a day off. "Tristan doesn't have to come to the training, he can stay at home to sort things out", said Van Holsbeeck. "But I will talk to him, life doesn't end after making one mistake."
