Angulo arrived in Belgium

TRANSFERS Nilsson Angulo, the young Ecuadorian who should become Anderlecht's first summer transfer, arrived in Belgium tonight. La Dernière Heure spotted him there together with his agent. Angulo's club LDU Quito meanwhile communicated that for Angulo with this transfer a dream comes true.


"We could not take away this opportunity from a boy who has dreamed of playing in Europe all his life," said Jorge Callejas, LD Quito's sporting director, at Club Extra. "This decision (the transfer, ed.) was made in the best interest of the player. Anderlecht is a club where Nilsson will improve. We chose the interest of the player and a nice transfer fee." 

According to Club Extra, in the event of a future resale, LDU Quito will be entitled to thirty percent of the transfer fee.

Angulo will turn 19 years old on Sunday. At Anderlecht, the one-time international will immediately get his chance with the first team.
