Assistant manager Weijs also leaves Anderlecht

TRANSFERS Assistant manager Willem Weijs will not be there on Monday when Anderlecht starts the preparation for the new season. Het Nieuwsblad knows that he has left the club. His destination is still uncertain, but it might be Lommel.


The 35-year-old Weijs was only active at Anderlecht as assistant manager since September. His departure means that there is no one left from the staff of Vincent Kompany.

At Lommel, Weijs would become the assistant of new manager Steve Bould.
