"The past few months were not always fun"

INTERVIEWS Hannes Delcroix was once again in the starting eleven yesterday after his knee surgery. It were difficult months for the defender, especially mentally it was sometimes heavy. Yesterday he immediately reached a high level that makes him dream of being selected for the Red Devils.


"Mentally it was not always easy," admitted Delcroix, "To motivate yourself every day to work hard on your recovery is not always obvious. But I did it and I am therefore happy with my starting place and performance".

"It is now important to continue working on my condition because towards the end I was tired, which is not abnormal because for the rest I feel completely fit. The Red Devils? We'll see, I'd be very happy with it in any case although a lot depends on myself of course."
