Deschacht: "Anderlecht belongs in the top four".

INTERVIEWS Saturday Olivier Deschacht officially says goodbye to football with his Legends Game for which tickets are still available. Something he is looking forward to, but also to the cup final on Monday: "I expect a very nice game".


According to Deschacht, RSC Anderlecht belongs in the top four, for the cup he estimates their chances at fiftyfifty. "Gent is experiencing a very strong exceptional period at the moment but Anderlecht is in form as well. Both trainers will have learned their lessons from the previous confrontation where Anderlecht lost but played very strong. In any case, I expect a nice, open match."

At least second place Deschacht doesn't want to minimise the chances of the purple and white either.
"The opening game against Union will be interesting. It can go fast. Anderlecht shouldn't hide away and be ambitious.
