Murillo: "Missing the World Cup hurts".

OTHER Panama ended the World Cup qualifying campaign with a 1-0 victory against Canada. Amir Murillo started the game, but was replaced at half-time. Afterwards, he wrote on Instagram how sorry he was that Panama missed out on the World Cup.


"The best thing that has happened to me in my career is playing the World Cup and defending the colors I love the most, those of Panama," Murillo referred to the 2018 World Cup in Russia. "This time it didn't work out. It hurts not to be able to give the people another World Cup. But in the future we will go for it again."
