INTERVIEWS Josh Cullen is one of the first names that Vincent Kompany puts on the match sheet, also with the Irish national team he is already at 15 caps. The Irish international is looking forward to tomorrow's game against the Red Devils.

In Ireland, football is a side issue, literally, as it revolves around rugby, hurling, Gaelic football and ultimate fighter Conor McGregor. "But we do want to grow," says Cullen, "Most of the players here used to only think about playing football in England, even the lower leagues were good. I made the click at one point and went to play for Anderlecht".

"A right choice, especially if you can work with someone like Kompany. I hope my choice will also convince other Irish talents not to think only of England. There are some already trying out in Italy anyway."

The Aviva stadium in Ireland is already sold out tomorrow. "It's a pity that top players like Lukaku, De Bruyne and Hazard won't be there. But Belgium also has a lot of other good players. It will especially be nice to see former teammate Sambi Lokonga again, I hope I can change shirts with him after the game".
