GAMES - YOUTH The Belgian U17 and Belgian U19 have both booked a nice victory today in the European Championship preliminary round. The U17 defeated Estonia with 8-1. The U19 were too strong for Finland and won with 1-3. In the last game Mario Stroeykens was the decisive man.
Stroeykens forced a penalty kick after 20 minutes He then converted it himself and put the 0-2 on the board. On the hour he also provided the assist for Luca Oyen's third Belgian goal. Stroeykens played the whole game. Alonzo Engwanda came on after 69 minutes. Saturday and Tuesday, the Belgians play against Germany and Italy.
For the U17, only Enock Agyei of Anderlecht played. He played the whole match, but didn't score. Saturday and Tuesday, Spain and Bosnia-Herzegovina still await.
