INTERVIEWS With two match days to go, Anderlecht doesn't have their fate in their own hands anymore. The purple and white team dominated in Ghent, but returned to Brussels without points. At the press conference after the match, Vincent Kompany reacted disappointed, but combative.

"I can't blame my team for anything," Kompany began his press conference. "They were very present in the match and went all out to score. But Gent made very good use of that chance by Tissoudali. Efficiency is the hardest thing to train as a coach."

After the beautiful victory against Antwerp last week, Anderlecht is suddenly outside the top four after this defeat. "This comes as a blow. Because we were working on a good series. There is also a good evolution in the game. We are doing better and better as a team. And then suddenly you're fifth..."

"But I think something is still going to happen," Kompany sounded hopeful and ambitious. "I think Gent or Antwerp will lose points in the next two matches. We now have to win our two matches. Then I am convinced that will be enough. But it's out of our hands."
