Stassin gives U21 a golden three-pointer against Club Brugge

YOUTH The purple and white U21 team won with the smallest difference against Club Brugge on Monday evening. Stassin scored the only goal of the game fifteen minutes before the end.


Six days after the defeat on the field of Club Brugge, Anderlecht got the chance to recover. In a poor and evenly matched game, one goal was enough.

A quarter of an hour before time, Stassin converted a penalty. A few minutes later, Club Brugge hit -the top of- the crossbar, but Anderlecht held on.  

It wasn't great, but the three points are there. Anderlecht puts Club Bruges back on twelve points and doesn't give up in the title fight.
