U21 easily deal with Standard

YOUTH The purple and white U21 won with 0-3 against Standard. The final score was already on the board at half time.  Enock Agyei, Lucas Stassin and Simion MIchez scored the goals. 


Standard had only three points less than Anderlecht before the match and were on the third place in the league. Anderlecht did it without guys like Marco Kana, Killian Sardella and Mario Stroeykens. It didn't look like it was going to be easy.

Seemed. Because after eleven minutes Enock Agyei gave the purple and white the lead. Last week he had also opened the score against Cercle Brugge. Just past the half hour mark Lucas Stassin doubled the score after some fine preparatory work by Kristian Arnstad. At the break Simion Michez killed the game after the Liege goalkeeper failed to control a free kick by Théo Leoni.

No more goals after the break. Standard could hardly threaten Bart Verbruggen and Anderlecht made a number of substitutions. Zeno Debast, once again a strong player, was given a short rest and Julian Duranville and debutant Ethan Butera were two more fifteen year olds to watch.
