INTERVIEWS Why does Vincent Kompany choose Lisandro Magallan and not Taylor Harwood-Bellis? That question was asked by us and many supporters in recent weeks. In Het Nieuwsblad Peter Verbeke gives the answer.


"After a few mistakes in the beginning, I did not expect him to play Harwood-Bellis out of the team," confesses Verbeke. "But things are improving and Kompany thinks he is making Hoedt play better."

Verbeke admits that he had reservations about Magallan's arrival in the summer, but that Kompany saw potential in the Ajax player. "He may not be the very best on the ball, but he has an exemplary mentality and is strong in the game," Verbeke concludes.
