Lille midfielder linked to Anderlecht

TRANSFERS According to French newspaper La Voix Du Nord, Anderlecht is one of the clubs that have set their sights on Lille player Cheikh Niasse. The 21-year-old defensive midfielder does not get much playing time at the Northern French club and wants to leave.
 


Niasse is a youth product of Lille. Last season he played after the winter break on loan for Panathinaikos. There he was a fixed value. Since his return to Lille last summer, he did not get more than 25 minutes in the Ligue 1, spread over two substitutions.

Niasse himself has now indicated that he wants to leave. Lille would ask around 2 million euros for the player who is still one and a half year under contract. Stade Brest, Lorient, NEC Nijmegen, Vitesse, Sheffield United, Feriburg and Panathinaikos would also like to see Niasse come.
