No midfield position for Kompany yet

A lot of experts think that Vincent Kompany would even play better as a midfielder. Kompany was already put on that position in the national team. Though Anderlecht trainer Hugo Broos keeps lining him up in the defence.


"Kompany's positioning on the field can be improved. So I think it's better for him to play in the defence for a bit longer. And by the way, I already have enough midfielders. I can't miss him in my defence."

Kompany himself reacted: "I don't want to influence the choise of the trainer. He's right if he says that I still have a lot to learn. I just try to do it as fast as possible."
