Overview international games: two wins

GAMES - YOUTH Two Anderlecht players came into action for their national team on Monday and both celebrated a victory. Both Taylor Harwood-Bellis (photo) and Christian Kouamé contributed to the victory of their country.


Ivory Coast won with 2-1 against Malawi. Kouamé came on after 74 minutes, when the final score was already on the board. After four of the six matches, Ivory Coast leads with one point more than Cameroon. The group winners will play play off games for a World Cup ticket.

With Harwood-Bellis on the field for the entire game, the English U21 recorded a very economical 0-1 victory at Andorra. After three of the ten games played England counts seven points. The group winners qualify for the European Championship, the numbers two play play off games.
