Mpenza ready for 2005

Mbo Mpenza still wants to prove himself in Anderlecht, because his first 8 months in Brussels were far from good. "I failed as a midfielder, but not as a striker", he said.


"I had to find my position. First striker, second striker, on the left wing, on the right wing... I was the victim of my flexibility. But I never had any regrets about my transfer."

And what was the problem with the team? "We have to play as a team. The game against Brugge was great. We could hit ourselves after that match. Suddenly we managed to play a very good game. So why couldn't we do that from the beginning of the season?"
