Hoedt: "Time to wake up"

INTERVIEWS Wesley Hoedt was not pleased with the elimination of RSC Anderlecht. However, the team had been warned for the intense start of Vitesse, but the Purple & White still missed the boat twice.


"In the run-up to the game, we were urged to start well and yet we failed twice there. We were just not sharp enough," Hoedt says afterwards.

The focus must now be shifted to the league and the cup. "We now have to look ahead, wake up and focus on Genk. It is up to us to bring Anderlecht back to the level where it should be. We now have to aim higher than the Conference League."
