Striker from Nice in sight

TRANSFERS Anderlecht are once again looking to Nice for a potential attacking reinforcement. Nice-Matin reports that the Purple & White has made an initial offer to take over Myziane Maolida. Maolida is a 22-year-old striker for whom Nice paid 10 million euros in 2018.


Since his transfer from Lyon to Nice three years ago, the frequent French youth international has not yet been able to live up to expectations. Last season he was good for eleven starting positions, eight substitutes and three goals in the league.

Maolida is still under contract with Nice until mid-2023. His current market value is estimated at 7 million euros. According to Nice-Matin, he is interested in a transfer to Anderlecht.

Earlier this mercato, Anderlecht tried to get from Nice Evann Guessand, but that didn't happen. He chose to stay and to take his chance after a successful loan.
