'Again young City striker in sight'

TRANSFERS Voetbalkrant believes it is aware that Anderlecht have their eyes set on Liam Delap, an 18-year-old striker of the U23 team of Manchester City. The English youth international scored 24 times in 20 games for City's U23 last season. He was also allowed to make his debut in the first team.


Delap came from Derby County to Manchester City in 2019. Voetbalkrant writes that City wants to extend his contract until 2023 and wants to loan him out next season. Initially, they were looking for a club from the English second division, but with the development of Lukas Nmecha in mind, Anderlecht also comes into the picture.

According to Voetbalkrant, the three parties will soon come to the table and a decision would soon follow.
