Tottenham resumed talks with Wilhelmsson

The Londoners have already had one bid for the Anderlecht star rejected, yet manager Martin Jol is reportedly desperate to snap up the 25-year-old before another club beats him to his signature.


"There are lots of activities with Tottenham Hotspur," Wilhelmsson said. "It's certainly not written off. The talks have resumed after Christmas."

However, the winger also revealed interest from other clubs: "There are several clubs from the Premier League who are interested. It is just positive. I also know about the Italian interest."
