First friendly game ends with a draw

GAMES Anderlecht drew 1-1 against St-Truiden in its first friendly game of the new season. Both goals fell before half-time when Anderlecht started with several basic players, including transfers Hoedt, Ashimeru and Refaelov.


Amuzu scored for Anderlecht on an assist from Vlap. Mboyo scored for St-Truiden in the 37th minute. The first half was fairly even with the first part for Anderlecht. The second half, in which Anderlecht played with almost all young players, did not bring much success. Stassin had the biggest chance and Colassin also shot on target. St-Truiden also had some opportunities, but Coosemans saved when necessary.

Several players were missing including Murillo, Bundu, Delcroix, Myckhailichenko, Cullen, Ait El Hadj, Verschaeren and Thelin.
