YOUTH Nassim Azaouzi also signs a professional contract until 2024 with RSC Anderlecht. He is part of the Purple Talents program where he combines school and football. Azaouzi started as a central defender but at the U13 he made the switch to deep striker.

“Azaouzi is the striker of the 2006 generation who finishes every season as a top scorer. He is big and strong, but also has a more than nice technique. Nassim is a hard worker on the field, "said Jean Kindermans, director of the youth academy.

After Julien Duranville and Ethan Butera, Azaouzi is the third youth talent to sign a professional contract with RSC Anderlecht this week. The trio could count on foreign interest, but choose to develop further on Neerpede.

"Youth more central than ever"

Kindermans is delighted with the choice of the three players and hopes that many other youth talents will follow their example. "I am pleased that with Julien, Ethan and Nassim we were able to convince three young talented players from a strong generation that further development within RSCA is the right choice."

"Despite the many national and international interest, these boys and their parents are convinced that our club will do everything in their power to offer them playing minutes at the highest level. We hope that we can also convince other talented players to choose for a future for the Purple & White, where the own youth is more central than ever. ”
