Wilhelmsson close to transfer to Tottenham

According to a few English sources, Tottenham have agreed to sign Swedish winger Christian Wilhelmsson from Anderlecht for £2.5 million (3.7 million euro).


After the elimination in the Champions League, Wilhelmsson went for advice to his fellow countrymen Larsson and Arnesen. They convinced him to leave Anderlecht. The deal could already be closed in January.
