GAMES Anderlecht has qualified for the quarter finals of the Belgian Cup. In the Brussels derby it defeated Union with 0-5. The duo Amuzu - Nmecha put Anderlecht 0-2 ahead. The substitutes then deepened the score.

Union started the game sharply and immediately showed that it is a very sharp and good team. Anderlecht was running for the ball, until smoke bombs from outside the stadium gave a short break after five minutes. After that, Anderlecht got better into the game and we got a balance and an attractive game.

Just after fifteen minutes Anderlecht opened the score. Murillo with the pass on Amuzu, and after a sharp acceleration he pulled the leather in front of goal. There, Nmecha was well positioned to score the 0-1. A little later the egg was so after 0-2 when Moris let a shot by Nmecha slip, but just before the line hit the ball.

Lissens' loss of ball possession gave the Anderlecht hearts a fright, but Wellenreuther made a good save. On the stroke of half time, Ait El Hadj also appeared alone in front of the keeper, but Union goalkeeper Moris was also on his toes: 0-1 at half time.

Union also started the second half with a lot of enthusiasm and confidence. But again the Amuzu - Nmecha duo struck. Amuzu gave a hard ball in front of goal and Nmecha deviated the ball into the far corner: 0-2 and match played. Nmecha, like Bruun Larsen, was allowed to rest. Mukairu and Diaby were given another half hour. The first one immediately showed himself with an outbreak on the left. Via Sambi Lokonga, the ball ended up at Mykhaylinchenko. Mukairu simply headed his cross in: 0-3.

The other substitute Diaby was also allowed to work on his statistics. After a foul on Trebel, who also came in, Diaby made 0-4 from the penalty spot. Another ten minutes later he put the 0-5 on the scoreboard with a very hard shot.
