"Nice gesture from Nmecha"

INTERVIEWS Michel Vlap shouted after he converted the penalty into 2-0. A shout of liberation, the Dutchman himself admitted. Also the gesture of Lukas Nmecha was nice, who left the second penalty to Vlap.


"The long wait has finally paid off", said a happy Vlap, "But I should have scored more than just that penalty kick. But we are on the right track and I have to keep going and keep showing myself".

A few matches ago against Genk, Vlap claimed the ball, Sambi Lokonga then took his responsibility as captain and pushed the ball into the hands of Nmecha. The latter must have kept that in mind and now gave the ball to Vlap himself for the second penalty kick.
