Turkish interest in Vranjes

TRANSFERS Turkish media report interest of Yeni Malatyaspor in Ognjen Vranjes. The Turkish club would already be in talks with the Bosnian defender. In Greece, Vranjes is again linked to AEK Athens.


AEK would sell defender Marios Oikonomou to Copenhagen. That feeds the speculation about a return of Vranjes. AEK hired Vranjes last season and wanted to keep him, but AEK could not (or did not want to) meet the transfer fee that Anderlecht asked. The sale of Oikonomou would create financial scope.
