Anderlecht have beaten Germinal Beerschot with the smallest difference: 0-1. That way, the Mauves stay 7 points behind Brugge. It was a diffucult victory, but a deserved one for Anderlecht.

Both teams started bad. The pace was low and none of the teams could set up a good action. The only one who could create some danger was Wilhelmsson. Dembele was dangerous for GBA.

GBA started the best in the second half, but Zitka kept them from scoring. But then Anderlecht reacted and pushed the team from Antwerp back. Several chances were missed and a penalty on Aruna was ignored by the referee. But eventually Aruna scored: 0-1.
Iachtchouk and Wilhelmsson missed a few chances to double the lead. Hasi was unlucky with a ball on the post.
