GAMES - INTERVIEWS No Anderlecht-player was happier after the game against Sint-Truiden than Landry Dimata. It was only his second game after 18 frustrating months, but Dimata managed to score. "I hope this is a turning point for me, and can finally start scoring goals again", a beaming Dimata said to the Eleven-journalist.

"It was a huge relief", Dimata said about his goal. "Twenty months without scoring is a long time. I hope this is a turning point for me, and can finally start scoring goals again. I dedicate this goal to my family, my friends, teammates en each and everyone who supported me during this difficult time. I want to thank each one of them".

The fact that it was Adrien Trebel who delivered the assist for Dimata's goal is making him very happy. Just last week Dimata wrote a message on Instagram saying he would love to share the pitch again with Trebel. "I needed him on the field. There's a certain form of chemistry between the two of us. It's nice for the both of us that he could deliver the assist."

Dimata is happy with the win, although he knows there is still a lot to improve. "The beginning of the match was difficult because Sint-Truiden read our tactical plan very well. We improved as the game went on, especially after the break. The most important thing is that we managed to take three points. We can and should be happy and now we have to focus on next week's game against Moeskroen", Dimata concluded.
