'Anderlecht in negotiations with Man City over Lukas Nmecha'

TRANSFERS According to Mike McGrath, journalist for The Daily Telegraph, Anderlecht is currently negotiating with Manchester City about a possible loan deal for 21-year-old Lukas Nmecha. Nmecha is a 1.85m tall center forward who also is representing Germany at youth level.


Nmecha was born in Hamburg, but moved to the UK at a young age. In the UK he came through the Man City youth setup.

Lukas Nmecha holds the German, English and Nigerian nationality. He was active for the English national youth teams between the U16 and the U21, but eventually chose to play for his native country, Germany. With the U21's of Germany, he scored 2 goals in 8 international matches.

Last season, Nmecha was loaned out to Wolfsburg for half a season, in the second half of the season he defended the colors of Championship-side Preston North End.
