Jestrovic forgets morning training

This is already the forth incident with Nenad Jestrovic this season. First he went to Serbia, to treat his arm, without the permission of the coach and the staff. A couple of weeks later, he trained with the national teamof Serbia and Montenegro, although Hugo Broos had forbidden him to do that. Monday he was too late on training. And now he didn't appear at all...

Jestrovic came with an excuse again. "I thought we trained later. I went to the doctor, and Fabrice Ehret was there too. He asked me where I was. Then I realised I had made a mistake. But I will pay the fine."

Manager Van Holsbeeck confirmed he will be fined. "He apologised, but he will be fined. Players have rights, but also duties. It's not the first incident with him. This makes the collaboration harder. We don't have many strikers. But we will evaluate his situation at the end of the season. We can't tolerate this."
