DAMES - INTERVIEWS With the arrival of Tessa Wullaert, Anderlecht not only wants to strengthen itself in a sports way, Purple & White also wants to become the pioneer in the development of women's football in our country. "Tessa will contribute to the further popularization of the sport and get many young girls to play football," hopes Anderlecht CEO Karel Van Eetvelt.

"We have always believed in women's football and we continue to invest in the development of the sport in Belgium," says Van Eetvelt at the presentation of Wullaert. "Tessa will show her influence on and off the field." Van Eetvelt describes Wullaert as "the best Belgian female football player ever", and "a role model".

With the arrival of Wullaert, Anderlecht wants to further profile itself as the absolute top club in women's football. "We are currently the best team in the country and we want to stay this. We want to do at least as good as the previous season (champion, the cup final and 32nd Champions League final, ed.)" Eetvelt. "Anderlecht is the exponent of the development of women's football in Belgium. We want more than ever to be a pioneer for women in Belgian football."
