The agent of Anderlecht's Aruna Dindane has said he does not expect the striker to sign for West Bromwich Albion. Previous the Baggies manager had been hopeful of signing the £5m-rated 24-year-old in January.

But Dindane's agent Serge Trimpont said the deal had now fallen through after the appointment of Bryan Robson. "As far as we are concerned the deal with West Brom is over. We are not considering them anymore," he told the Birmingham Evening Mail. "It's not going to happen. Aruna still wants to move to England. Whether that happens remains to be seen."
The Ivory Coast international has been on target six times this season in domestic competition although he has struggled to make an impact in the Champions League.
