Vanhoutte, 16, trains with core A

YOUTH No Thomas Didillon in training yesterday. It is unclear whether the reason was the conversation or the physical discomfort. To beat four goalkeepers, Frank Vercauteren called 16 year-old Timon Vanhoutte in Core A.

Vanhoutte has been training wiht the U21 since the begining of the preparation. He came from Club Brugge two years ago and leaves a strong impression. Vanhoutte is a great goalkeeper who rules in the air and has strong reflexes.

Due to Didillon's absence and because third goalkeeper Rik Vercauteren follows a separate schedule, Vanhoutte was able to test the first team yesterday. Together with Hendrik Van Crombrugge, Timon Wellenreuther and Nicolas Alavoine, he completed the exercises with goalkeeping coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar.

Before start dreaming: Vanhoutte will not become a permanent part of Core A, that way he also trained with U21 lastnight. There he will continue to work with Frank Boeckx in the future to develop his talent. Both in Anderlecht and in the national youth teams they consider Vanhoutte as a goalkeeper with potential , but the road is still long.
