The end of De Boeck's carreer?

The result of the knee-examination yesterday shocked Glen De Boeck. He needs a new operation and the defender will be out for another 6 months.


De Boeck will undergo the surgery next week. De Boeck was already injured for 6 months last year. A few weeks ago, he made his come-back, but now he's out again. His injury is bad for Anderlecht too, that is already short on central defenders.

Glen De Boeck himself was very disappointed. "Football can be cruel. I wonder if I can make a new come-back. Sometimes it's just too much. I'm going to think about my carreer now", he said.

Anderlecht were already looking for a new central defender. These scouting assignments are now on high priority.
