Vanden Borre continues training

OTHER Anthony Vanden Borre would no longer recive  a new contract form Anderlecht management, but according to the Wallon press, the player was still seen training in Neerpede, where he completed an individual program. Vanden Borre is not yet informed of the end of the collaboration.

At La Dernière Heure, the former Goossens club doctor also spoke about the fit of Vanden Borre. According him, the player would need approximately a year and a half to return to his best form after a 3.5 year hiatus. Vanden Borre currently has eight month on his training schedule, but as suggested earlier this week, his body would have a hard time coping whith high physical intensity. As a result, he would not receive a new contract.
