OTHER Racing Genk has decided, according to Het Laatste Nieuws, not to buy goalkeeper Thomas Didillon from Anderlecht. The Frenchman returns after a short loan to Purple & White.

Didillon was loaned to Genk for € 500,000 during the winter mercato with an option to buy him permanently at the end of this season for € 1.6 million. Although Didillon did  well in the six games that he played for Genk, the club now decided not to deny the option. Genk was struggling with a lot of injuries among the goalkeepers at the time, but the experienced Vukovic is now working on his return.

According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Genk will still receive 25% of the transfer amount if Anderlecht sell Didillon this summer. Anderlecht is looking for a new second goalkeeper after Roef's departure, but it is unlikely that it will (could) appeal to Didillon before that.
