OTHER After two years as an assistant and striker trainer at VVV in Venlo, Luc Nilis is looking for a new club. At Sporza, the former striker understands that a job at Anderlecht appeals to him. "If Colassin, Doku, Dimata and Amuzu perfect their kicking technique and pay attention to the details in front of the goal, Anderlecht will quickly reach the top again."

In recent years, Nilis worked at PSV and VVV. There he took care of the strikers. At PSV, he made Memphis Depay, Jurgen Locadia and especially Steven Bergwijn strikers who easily find their way to the goal. "I received a lot of recognition from PSV for this. When Bergwijn went to Tottenham this winter, he sent me a message to thank me," says Nilis.

Nilis is an icon at PSV. Before moving to Eindhoven in 1994, Nilis played for Anderlecht for eight years. With his fabulous kicking technique and dozens of goals, he is loved by every Anderlecht fan. And love is mutual. "If Vincent Kompany calls, I will definitely answer," said Nilis. The former striker sees a lot of possibilities with purple and white. "There are so many attacking talents now, guys with potential like Colassin, Doku, Dimata, Amuzu.
