TRANSFERS Thomas Didillon is very disappointed that his transfer to Racing Genk is canceled. That is what Het Nieuwsblad writes. The goalkeeper had packed his things in Neerpede on Wednesday, under the assumption that everything would get done. Not so. He was at the club yesterday, but he didn't train.
Anderlecht wanted to sell Didillon and include a buy-back clause in the agreement. They wanted to cash now, but to leave the options for a return (and possible sale for more money) open in the future. Genk didn't like that.
In the meantime, the Limburgers are about to get the Iranian national goalie Alireza Beiranvand.
