Van Eetvelt and Vandenhaute in, Van Biesbroeck out

OTHER Another major revolution within the Anderlecht board. Anderlecht bring on board Karel Van Eetvelt, Wouter Vandenhaute, Patrick Lefevere and Brussels mayor Philippe Close. Jo Van Biesbroeck has to make room.


Van Eetvelt would become the new CEO of Anderlecht. He quits as managing director of banking federation Febelfin. Van Eetvelt succeeds Jo Van Biesbroeck. He also loses his seat on the Board of Directors. Van Eetvelt receives all powers within the daily management of the club.

Vandenhaute will assist the club as an external advisor. Cycle manager Lefevere and Mayor Close will join the Board of Directors as independent directors. Michael Verschueren loses his seat in the board of directors, but remains sports director.
